Sound Ground Home Inspections is the Northern California’s most trusted home inspection company.

I am based out of Grass Valley, CA and I provide inspection services to a large area of Northern California. These areas include Nevada, Placer, Yolo, Butte, Sacramento, Santa Clara, and San Mateo Counties. My certified home inspection services include pre-listing inspections, buyer inspections, pool & spa inspections, mold testing, and thermal imaging.

Pre-Listing Inspections

A pre-listing inspection helps you and your agent better understand the condition of your home, provide more accurate pricing and how to address any potential unknown issues. This can lead to a quicker, smoother sale and help buyers feel safe and secure with their decision.

Buyer Inspections

Get a professional, careful assessment to help you with your decision making. I will perform a thorough inspection and provide you with clear, detailed report of the home you’re interested in buying. After the inspection, I will accompany you through a walkthrough (or Zoom call) of my findings, answer any questions and help introduce you to your new home.

Pool & Spa Inspections

Pools and spas can be great assets to a home and will be a place where your family and friends make lasting memories, but only if they’re safe and properly maintained.

Mold Testing

I use the latest lab tests to detect hidden mold that may be in crawl spaces and between walls, to ensure you and your family are safe from mold infestations.

Thermal Imaging

Optional Service

The purpose of an infrared scan is to find issues and catch them before they become a major problem. With the use of my infrared camera, I can help identify moisture, insulation, electrical, HVAC issues, and more.

Radon is colorless, odorless, and extremely carcinogenic. It can affect homes anywhere in the US, and the only way to check for elevated levels of radon in your home is with testing.

					I met Justin when he was working for another inspection company before starting his own business. I decided to try his previous employer because I was noticing a lack of consistency in the inspectors of my previous go-to company. Even though I had my favorite inspectors some were promoted to desk jobs or moved out of the area.
